Puzzle Time for Flyers contains 37 photocopiable puzzles for use with 8 – 10 year olds. Each puzzle is accompanied by detailed teacher’s notes outlining language aims, procedure and additional activities. The puzzles follow the syllabus of the Cambridge Young Learners Movers test and include activities on: animals, family vocabulary, parts of the body, days of the week, comparatives/superlatives, present continuous and the simple past. As well as being fun way of preparing for the Movers test, these puzzles also provide excellent practice material for any teacher of young children who is looking for ways to revise, consolidate and recycle language using the sort of puzzles which children in this age group naturally enjoy.
